This little shark was "napping" under a reef overhang. I took this photo upside down to get a decent angle without disturbing the shark.
Sharks don`t nap like us. They typically engage in a form of sleep called unihemispheric slow-wave sleep (USWS), where one hemisphere of their brain remains active while the other rests. This allows them to continue swimming and to be aware of their surroundings
This could also explain most office meetings. 🤔

I remember watching my Gram darn (fix) socks as a child. Decades later, I just did the same.
It`s actually pretty easy.
Stitch straight horizontal lines across the hole.
Weave straight vertical lines thru the horizontal lines.
Thanks, Gram. I couldn`t have done it without your guidance.

Saturday skills session!

The bottom photo is after color correction and editing.
I ❤️ diving. I never know what I will see or what I won`t see! Just above the stonefish hiding under a small fan coral is a nudibranch.
My process is using a #GoPro11 and take videos underwater. I review the footage and find the interesting bits. I trim the footage. If the footage is really good, I`ll color correct the video.
Next, I`ll review the original footage frame by frame and extract still images like above. I color corect and edit and then share.
Sometimes, I can`t get a great angle on the subject, but I get a fabulous shot of something else. 🤩
