Temple of Hathor at Dendera (also spelled Dandara and Dendara just to confuse you) is my favorite in Egypt.  It is far from normal tourist routes, but with the new highway only an hour north of Luxor near Qena.


It is a Greco-Roman (30 BCE - 14 CE) temple honoring Hathor the goddess of beauty, love, joy, sex, music and dancing.  


This vid is of the main hypostyle hall with the carvings restored.
